Refund Policy

Summary

  • Monthly plans: 7-day refund if less than 10% of credits used
  • Yearly plans: 7-day refund if less than 2% of credits used
  • Top-up credit packs: non-refundable
  • System-error failures: credits automatically refunded to your account

Eligibility for Refund

Monthly Subscription Plans

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used less than 10% of the credits granted in your plan.

Yearly Subscription Plans

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used less than 2% of the credits granted for the year.

Top-up Credit Packs

Top-up credit packs are non-refundable. Once purchased, credits are immediately added to your account and considered consumed.

Cancellation vs Refund

Cancellation and refund are different.

Cancellation: Stop future renewals. You retain access and credits through the end of your current billing period. Available anytime, no refund.

Refund: Return of payment for the current period. Subject to the eligibility rules above.

You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

System-Error Refunds

If a video generation fails due to a system error on our end (animation provider failure, render failure, etc.), the credits used are automatically refunded to your account.

This is separate from this refund policy and happens automatically. You do not need to request anything.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@aistorylab.io within the 7-day window with:

  • Your account email
  • The order number or subscription ID
  • Brief reason for refund request

We review and process eligible refunds within 5 business days via the original payment method.

Refunds We Cannot Process

We cannot process refunds in the following cases:

  • Request submitted after the 7-day window
  • More than the credit usage threshold (10% monthly / 2% yearly) consumed
  • Top-up credit pack purchases
  • Refund requested via chargeback before contacting us first (we encourage direct communication before disputing)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days notice and apply to future purchases only.
