1. About the Service

AI Story Lab is an AI-powered platform that generates long-form video content (script, voiceover, animated visuals, YouTube package) from user-provided story ideas. Generated content is delivered as downloadable MP4 files.

2. Account Requirements

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Service
• You must provide accurate account information
• One account per person — account sharing is prohibited
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access at hello@aistorylab.io

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Create content depicting minors in sexual, violent, or harmful contexts
• Generate hate speech, harassment, or content promoting violence
• Infringe on third-party intellectual property or impersonate real people without consent
• Create content for fraudulent purposes, misinformation, or political deception
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to access the Service through unauthorized means
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse free trials, referrals, or credits
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to third parties

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

4. Content Ownership

You own the content you create. Videos, scripts, and assets generated through the Service belong to you.

You grant us a limited license to:

• Display your content within the Service for operational purposes
• Use your content (anonymized) to improve the Service if you opt in
• Use your generated demos as case studies only with your explicit consent

You retain all commercial rights to monetize, publish, or distribute your content however you choose, including on YouTube and other platforms.

5. Credits and Usage

• Credits are required to use most features of the Service
• Credit costs per feature are displayed before each action
• Credits are deducted at the moment you confirm an action
• Failed system operations automatically refund credits
• Credit grants and limits are defined in your active subscription plan or top-up pack

Credits have no monetary value outside the Service. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred between accounts, or sold.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Third-party API outages or provider issues
• Technical issues outside our control

We are not liable for losses caused by Service downtime.

7. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing is displayed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
• Cancel anytime from account settings
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy
• Payments are processed by Lemonsqueezy. We do not store payment card information.

8. Account Termination

You may terminate your account anytime by emailing hello@aistorylab.io. We may terminate or suspend accounts that:

• Violate these terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay for active subscriptions
• Remain inactive for 12+ months

Upon termination, your access ends immediately. Generated content already downloaded remains yours. Active subscription periods are non-refundable upon termination for terms violations.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected outputs. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publication or distribution.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Story Lab and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Gujarat, India.
